USG’s Spring 2025 Service Event
Mines’ Undergraduate Student Government (USG) would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our community for their generosity and support throughout the years. This spring, we kindly invite all our neighbors to participate in these two upcoming events:
April 13-26:
Canned Goods Drive in partnership with BGOLDN –Spring cleaning is right around the corner—why not start with your pantry? Donate excess non-perishables and support Golden families in need!
Items we’re collecting: Non-perishable foods, canned goods, pet items, & family items

On Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, the Colorado School of Mines’ Undergraduate Student Government (USG) held its annual Helluva Service project. Volunteers traveled around the City of Golden to offer support cleaning outdoor spaces, bagging leaves, trimming trees/bushes, cleaning gutters, and more.
Please note: Historically, Helluva Service was held in the spring. However, to best meet our community’s needs, we have decided to move this event to the fall. Thank you for your continued understanding and support!
