Bio: Hi! My name is Rachael King and I am from Grand Rapids, Michigan! I am pursuing a degree in Geological Engineering through which I hope to advocate for the earth and communities around me. In high school, my favorite activities were Science Olympiad, competitive cycling, marching band, and being a part of National Honors Society. My current hobbies include camping, mountain biking, gravel biking, hanging out with friends, mountaineering, coffee drinking, reading, and being involved at church! Here at Mines, I am involved in Mines Club Cycling, Catholic Ministry, Geology Department Ambassador, Colorado Scientific Society, and the Generative AI-taskforce! I love to learn, explore new things, and challenge myself which is why I am called to become so involved and participate in diverse hobbies!
